Layer pads on plastic pallets 1200x800 mm – separate and protect product layers

For multi-layer load units, plastic pallet layer pads, separator sheets and interlayers can usefully complement a plastic pallet 1200x800 mm.

Layer pads can separate multiple product layers, protect sensitive surfaces, separate cartons, containers, cans, bottles or packages and, depending on the material and design, support a more uniform contact surface within the load unit.

For the Euro format, pallet layer pads and Layer Pads 1200x800 mm as well as other standard and custom dimensions are available.

Layer pads can support the structure of the load unit and protect the goods, but they do not replace any required load securing. Material, thickness, surface and design must be matched to the respective load.

Stacking corners – stack another pallet on a 1200x800 mm configuration

Plastic stacking corners for pallets, frames and pallet collars can be used to functionally extend a suitable configuration consisting of a plastic pallet 1200x800 mm and a pallet collar.

The stacking corners are positioned on the upper corners of a suitable pallet collar and create defined support and positioning points for a pallet placed above. Plastic pallets 1200x800 mm can be particularly interesting for export processes where the widely used Euro footprint is to be combined with low tare weight, nestability or a reusable plastic construction.

ISPM 15 regulates phytosanitary measures for raw wood packaging material. A plastic pallet itself is not made from raw wood and therefore does not require corresponding ISPM 15 wood treatment.

Load securing with plastic pallets 1200x800 mm – the pallet is the basis of the load unit

A plastic pallet 1200x800 mm forms the load-bearing base of a load unit, but does not by itself constitute complete load securing. Even when a technically suitable pallet is used, the load, weight, centre of gravity, load distribution, friction, packaging stability, stacking height, transport route and forces that may occur must be considered together.
